RECCoon is a minimal, private audio recorder that transcribes on the device.

Record in uncompressed WAV, or flip one switch to save small AAC (.m4a) files.
Everything stays on your phone: there is no account, no analytics and no upload.

Features:
* One big record button: tap to start, tap to stop and save.
* Live waveform and left/right peak meters with a clip indicator.
* Mono switch and a Swap L/R option for devices whose stereo channels are reversed.
* Mic picker: auto, built-in, wired, USB or Bluetooth SCO.
* Live monitoring: hear the microphone through the output you choose (headphones recommended).
* Markers: add labelled cue points while recording; they are embedded in the WAV and shown in the player.
* Discard button to throw away a bad take without saving.
* Recordings list and a player with scrubber, +-10 s jumps, speed control and per-word tap-to-seek.
* Export transcripts as .txt or .srt, or share/rename/delete recordings.

Transcription uses NVIDIA Parakeet v3 (multilingual) through sherpa-onnx and
runs fully offline. The model is about 670 MB and is downloaded once, on first
use, over Wi-Fi; after that no network is needed.

Free software, released under the GNU GPL v3 or later.
